2012 is right around the corner and, I don't know about you, but when I was out and about with the craziness that is holiday shopping, I felt an energy that I haven't felt in quite a while. People were actually OUT.
No matter if the reality of our economic situation is mild, non-exsistant, or right in your face, I get the feeling that we are wanting to step out and get on with living. With that said, why not embrace the color of January....Garnet.
Red is the color of passion and excitement. We are looking to get out from under our shells and make a statement. "We are here!!"
Have fun as we forge ahead to the new year.
Add a hit here and there. You don't have to step so far out of your comfort zone as to paint an entire room red, just add a little punch. It will brighten your day. A throw pillow or two, a cool red door knob....something that makes you happy when you look at it.
Look to your body as well. A pin, some pop-y, red, peek-a-boo heals, or go crazy with red locks! You can always change it back next month.
